RIDEA Collab Beer

Last semester, senior students from the JWU Craft Brewing capstone and Design classes teamed up to create prototype brews and labels for a collaboration beer. The “winning” beer will be brewed by local breweries to help raise funds for a new scholarship at JWU to promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion across the beverage industry.

THE SPECIFICS

  • Beer Name: Silence Is Not Golden 

  • Beer Style: Table Beer / Trappist Single 

  • Participating breweries must release the collaboration beer before 12/31/22. 

  • Participating breweries must agree to donate 15% (or more) of the proceeds to the RIDEA scholarship at Johnson & Wales by 12/31/22. This donation is tax deductible as JWU is a 501c3 non-profit organization. 

  • Participating breweries must post their code of conduct and/or anti-discrimination policy on their website or social media.
